Oxford Prep Hockey is a Tier 1 AAA hockey organization dedicated to fostering the development and advancement of youth athletes to the junior and collegiate levels including the CHL, Junior, USHL, NCAA. Our alumni continue to excel in programs nationwide, demonstrating the effectiveness of our dedication to player development, discipline, and a commitment to excellence, making OPH the premier destination for aspiring hockey players aiming to elevate their skills and careers.

Elite Development On & Off the Ice

Our experienced coaches and staff provide unparalleled skill development and fitness programs to enhance performance and knowledge of the game on ice while building strength, agility, and conditioning for optimal performance.

Premium Facilities

Our specialized off-ice fitness centre, convenient ice locations, official Sabres locker room, and custom team kits including premium equipment ensure our student-athletes have all they need to succeed. In 2025, we will begin construction on our dedicated home ice pad — providing advanced training off-ice and on-ice in one dedicated centre.

Game Schedule & Showcases

The Sabres play a high-level AAA schedule focused on comprehensive exposure across Ontario, Quebec, and the United States. Our season includes 60+ games, minimum 8 showcases and tournaments, as well as exhibition play.

Education

The Oxford Prep on-ice and off-ice schedule runs after school hours, ensuring our program does not interfere with education. Sabres can continue attending their current secondary school within the region while athletes that billet with OPH may attend one of our local secondary schools or have the option of online schooling. Our model provides students the ability to enjoy authentic secondary school experience combined with elite development and competition.

Our approach aligns parent and player expectations with in-season developmental feedback, advisory, and engagement with Junior and collegiate programs for Sabres that are ready for the next step in their journey.

Sabres are the 2024-2025 NAPHL Champions

March 30, 2025 Ottawa ON - The Sabres clinched the NAPHL Championship in a thrilling final game in overtime that showcased their resilience and teamwork! After a successful season, they rose to the occasion with a great performance, blending sharp defense, explosive offense, and sold goaltending through the Championship Showcase. WHA Sabres not only captured the championship but also capped off a historic season winning all showcases, the first time ever accomplished.
